Omg I love this drawing! The exaggerations on the feet make it really stand out. (no pun intended) The glowing eyes give it a sort of eerie aura about it.

The color scheme works incredibly well, as does the simple background. The decision to color the line-art makes it look that much better! It allowed a really soft look to his fur, and helped bring out the colors without making him look too harsh.

The simple background also brought a nice frame to the character, with a color that works.

If anything, I would make the eyes glow a bit more prominent, and maybe give them a nice shine. Maybe even add some lighter bits in his fur so you get a stronger sense of depth.
